Erasmus+ KA1 at ISI Dublin: How Does It Work?
Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) supports the mobility of education staff by funding professional development courses abroad. This programme is ideal for:
- Teachers (primary, secondary, and vocational)
- School leaders and administrators
- Education professionals in adult learning and higher education
With Erasmus+ funding, you can join our specialised training courses at ISI Dublin, where you will experience expert-led workshops, interactive lessons, and cultural immersion in one of Europe’s most vibrant education hubs.

- All courses are taught by a team of highly qualified and experienced English language teachers.
- We offer a format of 15 hours of English language training in mixed international classes at your specific level, combined with 5 or 10 hours of specialised modules in small classes, in your chosen field.
- Specialised modules are taught over 1 week. Students who require 2 weeks can take a different module for their 2nd week.
- Prices are inclusive of materials and enrolment fee and access to all school facilities and services, including the social & cultural activity programme (there may be some pay-as-you-go entry fees).

- Intensive General English – 15 hours General English +5 Electives + 5 Special Topics

How to apply
If your institution is based in an Erasmus+ programme country, you can apply for Erasmus+ KA1 funding to cover the costs of training at ISI Dublin. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Check Your Institution’s Eligibility
Your school or education organisation must be located in an Erasmus+ programme country.
Step 2: Secure Erasmus+ Funding
Your institution applies for funding through your Erasmus+ National Agency using our official details:

Step 3: Choose Your ISI Dublin Course
Browse our Erasmus+ courses above and select the programme that best suits your needs.
Step 4: Register with Us
Once your Erasmus+ funding is approved, contact us to book your place in one of our upcoming courses. We will also help you to complete the Europass Mobility documents.
