Founded in 2001, ISI Dublin has been delivering high-quality educational programmes to international students, teachers and education professionals for more than 20 years. We are accredited by Eaquals<\/strong> and recognised by ACELS<\/strong>, a service of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) for English language education (ELE). Our Quality and Erasmus+ Programmes<\/h2>\n

Academic excellence is at the heart of everything we do. ISI Dublin is the proud winner of the StudyTravel Star English Language School Europe Award four times, in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020\/21, and was a finalist in 2024 and 2025. We have also won the Irish Enterprise Award for Best English Language School in Ireland in 2022 and 2023.<\/p>\n

We are an official exam centre for Trinity College London ISE Examinations and a recognised preparation centre for Cambridge examinations, including IELTS. We also facilitate LanguageCert examinations.<\/p>\n

ISI Dublin provides English language and teacher training programmes for educators who want to improve their English, develop practical classroom skills and experience Ireland as part of an international learning community. Our teacher-focused programmes can support Erasmus+ mobility objectives, professional development needs and group training plans.<\/p>\n

Our academic team works with teachers and education professionals from across Europe and beyond, helping participants improve communication skills, build confidence and take part in a meaningful cultural and professional development experience in Dublin.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Personalised Learning and International Community<\/h2>\n

The average class size at ISI Dublin is 13 students, allowing teachers to focus on individual needs and tailor lessons accordingly. This creates a supportive classroom environment where participants can receive feedback, practise communication and build confidence.<\/p>\n

All students are assessed at the time of booking via an online test, again on arrival with a speaking test, and weekly through class tests. Progress is tracked to ensure participants are studying at the correct level, with opportunities to advance after successful completion of an exit-level examination.<\/p>\n

With high student numbers year-round, ISI Dublin offers up to 16 different levels. For example, instead of a single B1 class, there may be two or three, each catering to slightly different abilities, allowing precise level placement.<\/p>\n

ISI Dublin has a rich nationality mix, with up to 40 different countries represented at any time. This international environment helps teachers and education professionals practise English with classmates from different backgrounds and share ideas across cultures.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Teaching, Facilities and Student Life in Dublin<\/h2>\n

All our buildings are located in the heart of Dublin, within a five-minute walk of O\u2019Connell Street, Temple Bar and Trinity College. This central location makes it easy for participants to explore Dublin before or after class and enjoy the city as part of their learning experience.<\/p>\n

ISI Dublin operates two year-round centres with excellent facilities in beautifully designed buildings, creating an inspiring learning environment for students, teachers and education professionals.<\/p>\n

We teach the language students need for real-life communication using a communicative approach. While following a core textbook, teachers incorporate authentic materials such as magazines, menus, advertisements, YouTube videos, songs and educational software.<\/p>\n

All ISI Dublin teachers are university graduates with government-recognised teaching qualifications. Most have extensive teaching experience in Ireland and abroad. Our Academic Management team monitors teaching standards through observations, weekly meetings and regular training workshops.<\/p>\n

All classrooms use Interactive Digital Whiteboards and computers, integrating textbooks with software and online resources. Both centres have high-speed WiFi and computer rooms with webcams for Skype, FaceTime and other online communication tools.<\/p>\n

Our caf\u00e9s offer high-quality food at very affordable prices. Students can enjoy hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and snacks, with lunch available for under \u20ac3.50, offering excellent value in Dublin.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Join free social activities in Dublin<\/h2>\n

Teacher Training and Erasmus+ participants can join free scheduled social activities, explore Dublin, practise English outside the classroom and connect with international classmates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Depending on the weekly programme, free activities may include orientation walks, conversation exchanges and selected cultural or social meet-ups. Discover what’s on and take part during your stay.<\/p>\n
